Accessibility statement
Every school, teacher and student should be able to use this website and the Lessora app, whatever their abilities and whatever assistive technology they use.
This statement covers this website and the Lessora web app for schools (addresses such as yourschool.lessora.app). The mobile apps will be added once they are released.
Standards we follow
The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) sets accessibility requirements for digital services in the EU. Poland applies it through the Act of 26 April 2024 on ensuring that certain products and services meet accessibility requirements (Journal of Laws 2024, item 731), in force since 28 June 2025. The technical standard behind it is EN 301 549, which for websites and apps means the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. That is the level we build to.
How we are doing
We check Lessora against WCAG 2.1 AA ourselves while we build it: every control works from the keyboard, focus is visible, every form field has a label, text and background contrast is checked automatically in our test suite, pages have landmarks and a skip link, there is a dark mode and text scales with your browser settings. An independent audit has not been done yet; its results will be published here when it has.
Known limitations
- Payment pages run by Stripe and the Cloudflare bot check follow their own accessibility statements.
- Content that schools upload (files, images, lesson notes) is theirs; we cannot guarantee it has text alternatives.
- Generated PDFs (receipts, reports) are only partly tagged; ask us for the same data in another form.
- Some screenshots on this website are decorative and skipped by screen readers; the text next to them explains what they show.

If you are not satisfied
In Poland the body that supervises the accessibility of services under the Act of 26 April 2024 is the President of the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PFRON). You can turn to it if we do not answer or the answer does not solve the problem. In other EU countries, contact the market surveillance body responsible for the European Accessibility Act in your country.
