Accessibility: text size, contrast and motion
Updated October 10, 2026
Open your avatar, then Settings and Appearance. Under Accessibility you can change how Lessora looks for you:
- Text size: 100% to 150%. The whole app grows with it.
- High contrast: darker text and stronger borders, in the light and the dark theme. Your school's colour is not used while it is on.
- Reduce motion: turns off animations. If your phone or computer is already set to reduce motion, Lessora follows it without this switch.
- Readable font: Atkinson Hyperlegible, made so that letters like I, l and 1 are easy to tell apart.
- Wider text spacing: more space between lines, letters and words.
- Underline links and Stronger focus outline: links stand out without colour, and a thick outline shows where you are when you use the keyboard.
Changes show at once and are saved to your account, so they follow you to every device and every school you log in to. Only you see them. Reset to default turns everything off again.
Your browser's own zoom (Ctrl and + on Windows, Cmd and + on a Mac) and screen readers such as NVDA or VoiceOver work too. If something in Lessora gets in your way, tell us through Support.
