Plan, trial and billing

A new school gets a free trial with no card needed; a banner shows the days left. To continue, the owner opens School settings → Plan and billing, chooses a plan and pays by card through Stripe. Plans differ in how many teachers they allow and in features such as online payments. Every teacher counts until their account is archived, so archiving a teacher who has left frees their place. Students and managers are unlimited.

If a payment fails, you have seven days to update the card. After that, or when a trial ends without a plan, the school becomes read-only: everyone can still sign in and look around, and teachers can report lessons, but nothing new can be added until a plan is chosen.
