Lesson balances and top-ups

Updated October 1, 2026

Every student has a balance in each course: the lessons paid for and not used yet. A payment adds lessons and a reported lesson takes one away, depending on the school's charging rules. If the balance runs out, lessons can still be reported and show as owed until the next payment.

Students see their balance under My balance and can Top up there: choose a package or a number of lessons and pay online by card (if the school offers it), or ask to pay cash at the school or by bank transfer. The school adds the lessons once it has the money.

Managers see every student's balance and history, can record payments, correct a balance with a reason, move lessons between courses and charge lessons owed. When a balance runs low, the student gets a reminder.
